SAT/ACT/PSAT Tutoring Available!

Dan Zegart has helped numerous students conquer test anxiety
and raise their scores by more than 100 points on the
writing and critical reading sections of the SAT.  He
am also experienced with the ACT and PSAT.

So-called "aptitude" tests serve a gatekeeper function
that can prevent talented students from attending
colleges for which they are otherwise fully qualified.
Why should any student be in this position due to a
lack of the test-specific skills that can enhance his
or her performance?

His specialty is devising an instructional plan
tailored to each student's needs.  Dan has taught
students with auditory deficits, ADHD and other
disabilities.  His track record speaks for itself.

Our rates are a fraction of what you would pay one of
the major test prep companies.  And our methods are
just as reliable. Dan can tutor your child either at
home or at Writers Corner.

Don't wait until the last weeks before the test...

Call Writers Corner at 215-230-1070 or e-mail writerscornerusa@yahoo.com to set up an appointment.

Read a Lot, Write a Lot: A Reading Group

Date & Time: Thursday October 4th, 7-9 pm. Thereafter the group meets the 1st Thursday of every month.

Reading: The Road by Cormac McCarthy

Fee: This program is free.

Program Description: Discuss your favorite books from a writer's perspective the 1st Thursday of every month.

"If you want to be a writer, you must do two things above all others: read a lot and write a lot." - Stephen King, On Writing.

Our newest program takes this cardinal rule of writing one step further and offers a reading group deliberately designed with writers in mind. We will discuss our favorite books, short stories and articles specifically considering the elements of writing. What is the author doing right? What did she get wrong? And how can we use our insights into the writing of others to improve our own work.

Moderator: Katharine Williams

To Register: Send us an email at writerscornerusa@yahoo.com, or to the moderator at keowilliams@yahoo.com. Include the name of the program along with your contact information.
