Creative Writers Summer Camp!
Every kid has a story to tell and the Writers Corner USA is the place to tell it!
Campers will: create characters, short stories, movie scripts, comics, and poetry, as well as participate in many other fun and unique writing experiences and field trips.
Campers will share their favorite piece at an open mic event at the conclusion of camp.
Meet professional writers and make friends interested in writing!
3-week students will create their own magazine!
Week 1: June 23rd-27th
Week 2: July 7th-11th
Week 3: July 14th-18th
Mornings: Grades 3 - 6
9:00 am to 12:00 pm
Afternoons: Middle School & up
1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Tuition: $250 (One Session)

COURSE DESCRIPTION: The same writing professionals who brought you the highly-popular Writers Corner Summer Camp are offering an exciting addition to the school year with the Writers Corner Creative Kids Project.
Designed to develop and sustain writing skills for students grades three through twelve, the Writers Corner
Creative Kids Project breaks new ground by giving kids and teens the communication skills that make a
difference in school and in life.
STUDENTS CAN EXPECT TO:
Sharpen their writing skills
Develop their voice
Receive feedback on their writing
Practice the essentials of crafting and supporting an argument
Workshop their (college) essays, research papers, book reports
Learn how to incorporate the 5 W's into their work
Effective note taking strategies and in-class listening skills
Word play
Vocabulary building
Beginning, middle and end — understanding the story arc

Thursdays from 4:30 - 5:30 PM
- High School Students (grades 8th through 12th)
Thursdays from 5:30 - 6:30 PM
